SPOKE Design, LLC provides optional SMS two-factor authentication for authorized administrators of WordPress websites managed by SPOKE.
Users who enroll receive a one-time security code when attempting to log in. Messages are transactional and are not used for advertising or promotional purposes. Message frequency varies according to login activity. Standard message and data rates may apply.
Enrollment is voluntary. To enroll, an authorized WordPress administrator provides a mobile telephone number, affirmatively checks the SMS consent box in their WordPress profile and saves the profile.
Providing a mobile number without checking the consent box does not enroll the user in SMS two-factor authentication.
Messages are sent in response to WordPress login activity. Message frequency varies according to the number of login security-code requests associated with your account.
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile service plan.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from SPOKE’s SMS security-code number. You may also disable SMS two-factor authentication through your WordPress profile or contact SPOKE at info@spokehq.com.
Because SPOKE uses a shared security-code number, replying STOP may prevent SMS security codes from being delivered for all WordPress websites using that number.
Reply START to resume receiving messages. You may also need to re-enable SMS two-factor authentication in your WordPress profile.
Disabling SMS messages may prevent use of SMS-based authentication; contact SPOKE to arrange another authentication method. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
