SLYD (pronounced “Slide”) is an acronym for Start Living Your Dream. The company founders, Robert Wachter and Richie Kachele, help clients live their dreams by turning their visions into innovative web solutions. In 2007, the company transitioned their headquarters to Seattle where they now operate as SLYD Media. The company supports other leading internet-based companies in the region with integrated CMS, web marketing, content development, and print-based marketing solutions.
Why, you ask, would a web development company ask another web development company to design their online brand? Because it’s often more difficult to design for yourself than for others. SLYD Media wanted an “outsider’s” perspective to bring their online brand to life in a way they knew they wouldn’t. This approach provided some much needed objectivity and allowed Robert and Richie to focus on content development, strategy and site architecture.
